The image of a director wearing a beret or other distinctive clothing items has become a part of popular culture and may be used in media or marketing to promote a certain image or brand. However, in reality, the clothing choices of directors are as diverse as the individuals themselves, and there is no universal or mandatory dress code for the profession.
