Yeah, this was back when monitors looked like old TVs and keyboards went yellow in a month.

I had an Apple IIc so I could play Artillery and Oregon Trail and that thing lasted all through high school and well into college, they don't make them like that now.

It didn't have much for graphics but the games were fun.

Now games look insane but they kinda suck.

They do suck. Before it was just a straight up adventure game, not some MMORPG. I never played WOW so I don't get what the whole appeal is, and I probably never will.

I always liked the JRPGs like Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star, Shining Force, Dragon Warrior and etc.

I remember when you had to group up with your friends to figure out the puzzles they were not easy.

Kids today have it so easy, cheats and mods and online walkthroughs. That's not playing the game at all.

Back in the mountains I can feel my strength and vitality returning, cities make you too comfortable and weak.

Not that I would, too bloody tired after all the fixing things and wood chopping and snow stuff, I just want to sleep for a week, but my turbo insomnia kicks in.

I get ya. I'm usually a brilliant and brutal fighter, but when I'm drunk I fall like a sack of potatoes.
