In the comics The Leader (the guy that got the gamma blood splashed on his head) is kinda cool, but of course like Hector Hammond in Green Lantern they mess him up.

DC aren't much better. Here, let's finally have a Flash movie, but the villain is also the Flash. 🙁

I would have liked Captain Cold and Flamethrower to demonstrate just how brilliant the Flash is, but I'm not the director. 🙁

Yeah, Heat Wave.

I remember reading a silver age comic where Barry Allen had complete control of every molecule in his body and could transfer the heat from Heat Wave to counter the absolute zero caused by Captain Cold on the other side.

Like they teamed up, and he defeated both of them.

Or Mirror Master was another interesting villain, and Flash learns to vibrate through walls.

Seriously, the sci-fi element in those comics were awesome!

DC has a lot of villains associated with fire, I guess if you've been in business since the late '30s you're going to accrue a ton of guys.

It's a common theme I guess. Fire and Ice are both uncomfortable for different reasons. Like acid and alkaline.
