Batman killed criminals in the comics all the time. Granted, he only did it if it was the only option. Of course he felt bad about it, but like any good detective, he sucked it up as another part of the job.

I didn't like him in Good Will Hunting. Seemed like a dick in the entire film. Maybe he was very good at portraying that kind of character.

That's pretty much all guys do, go to bars to see if they can get some, and then end the night drunkfighting to get the aggression out.
I was friends with a few guys like that but I was the nerd that wanted to run D&D campaigns all night and watch ST:TNG I taped off the TV.
