BTW, how do you color on the computer, anyway?

Well, the colored ones up there are getting a bit old, now, so those were done with PaintShop Pro and a mouse. And the undo button. Can't forget that.

When I color stuff now I use my tablet.

I mean - do you use the paintbrush on another layer, or just fill between the lines?

I fill/paint on a second layer, add light and shadows on a third, and special effects (shines, lightsaber blades) on a fourth. If there's text, that goes on its own layer.

So I pretty much just try to keep each part of the picture on its own layer, then compress it to jpeg format when I'm finished.

i would post you some of my pic but i dont own a scanner ..... they took me hours to do i woill look on the internet to find something similar to them then post then in ok 🙂🙂🙂 happy days

For this pic.. I had seen dark samus in metroid prime 2.. and wondered what kind of chief the element Phazon would create.. so I cooked this up.. (along with a rework of the plasma pistol and human magnum pistol).. I sorta like how it came out.. but wish I had a better understanding of armor/weapons systems

This is one of samus that I drew while trying to memorize her suit (and also see if I could draw something in ink without screwing up) >_>

A sketch I did to try to understand different aspects of aeris.. (for some reason, I cant find any full body pics of Advent Aeris -_-.. so I dunno if they added anything new for her outfit).. such as how her clothing falls on her, and various characteristics.. boots , jacket , braided hair (which I got lazy on 😮 )
