Ooopps .... I know i read it somewhere, it may have been the House of M, or the Age of Acocalypse one ! 😮 Any way even the 'exact' strength levels are not that accurate. They said that Namor can lift a 100 tons in water. He has regularly shown he can lift thousands of tons, inside and out of water. 🙂

Rogue has lifted planes weighing 100 's of tons
Akethma threw Vision with one hand."Exactly. Thats why the marvel old system is crap. 100 tons dont mean = top tier.
Not when guys that are weaker in relation with those can do it.
The new Level system is a far more accurate guide, you just have to ignore the numerical values.
E.G. Most Level 6 characters can lift thousands of tons, but the Handbook lists Level 6 characters, as being able to lift between 75 - 100 tons. This is more like the strength range for level 5. Level 7 characters, i.e the old Class 100, can pretty much lift whatever the story needs them to lift. Such scenarios are rare for Marvel, which is why i believe that D.C. characters are a lot stronger ! 😛

But since i go by comics, they arent. Theyr comparable for the most part. There are exceptions of course.

Colossus-In in his armored form, Colossus possesses superhuman strength. As a teenager, he was able to lift (press) 70 tons. Now, as a fully grown man, Colossus' strength has proven to be even greater, however the upper limits of his strength are unknown. His steel form also possesses a high degree of invulnerability to conventional injury. Colossus' armored form can withstand falls from great heights, extreme temperatures of both hot and cold, high caliber machine gun shells, and large amounts of explosives without sustaining injury
