Hells, I visited a Church the other day that wasn't even Christian. So much trouble to be in. I imagine it would be quite embarrassing for those who believe in Hell
Damned Guy Hitler - Yeah, so I'm down here because I led humanity into the worst war ever and killed millions of innocents.Damned Guy Stalin - Well, I led my people into the Cold War and killed millions, that, and I banned all religion.
Damned Guy Used Car Salesmen - I ssold people carsss that were crap, and then wouldn't return their money when they exploded. Ssso, what are you in for? Ssssss.
Damned Guy Me - I, ah, kind of went to a non-Catholic Church once.
Damned Guys All - Gee, that's pretty lame, don't expect any special treatment here. Or respect. You Lame big time.
Even when ones doing nothing wrong it's wrong. Oh well.
I would suppose that Buddhists and Tao's, and Spiritualists along with Native Americans amongst others don't confess to anyone. Yet they are superior by most in the life they lead. Meaning that they are a good example to others on how to treat the earth and other human beings and even animals. What's missing in the Christian, and Muslim faiths? The faiths of the "One god?"
And yet they don't badger to conform others to their belief, yet lead by example.

The idea of "forgiveness" can lead people to the rationalization of "sin now, forgiveness later". With Buddhism, we must live with the mistakes we make; there is no god given forgiveness.
