Give Sidious his credit!

Does anyone else notice how Sidious is extremely under-rated in these Forums?

He was the Puppet Master behind EVERYTHING and he basically owned the entire Galaxy throughout the OT and he was the reason for the PT to exist.

Plot device, Sorgo. No one denied he was a mastermind. It just so happened he also isn't a lightsaber god.

Bah, I find far too many people bash him in this Forum and think that every other SW Character would smash him in a fight. Quite dumb.

I never said something like that and it's pretty clear that Obi-Wan can't take Sidious since Yoda tells him exactly that in ROTS. The only people in the films that might be able to beat Sidious are Yoda, Mace and Dooku. Period.

Yeah, Sidious deserves more credit than he receives around here. His Force powers and his saber skills are constantly called into question. It does concern me. But his intellect and effectiveness, as Illustrious said before, have not been denied (and that's simply because it would take a really dumb person to accuse Sidious of idiocy).

While he may not be the most capable saber duelist on the planet, he is certainly the most effective Sith Lord we've seen.
