Bumping this for the lulz. A coworker of mine had this on his bookshelf. After laughing about him having it at work, he offered to lend it to me. I accepted.
I can honestly say this was an amazingly written book. The guy can write. He expertly paced anecdotes and stories, strategies and techniques, linear chronological storytelling juxtaposed with relevant internet forum material and stories, humor and deeper insights, criticism without devolving to cliche or overstatement, and honesty.
It's not a casual read for those just looking to pick up chicks. A google search will yield more quick results for those interested. This book, while revealing some of those strategies, is first and foremost a story. And a good one. I recommend it for anyone looking for a good laugh, a good read, and some fascinating insight into how "players" operate.
