The confederates begin to retreat with 1/4 of their men remaining.

The union soldiers charge after them.
"cannons fire ahead of the confederates to keep them from retreating."

The confederates do not stop retreating. They are now outnumbered by the union forces 1 to 25.

"capture their leader and bring him here"

The confederates flee into the woods.

"halt men. Send in some scouts to check out where they are headed" ben says to a soldier
