Can Krytonians do anything ?

I've just read some of the post from the All Star number 1 thread, and im startig to get the impression that Superman can do anything ! Freeze apart of the Sun, Oh for FS !!!!!!!

I thought this guys abilities where solar based, but now he's starting to 'over power', his own power source !

In the mainstream Earth 1 universe, Superman has begun to display powers that suggest he may actually be beyond scienece. I mean X ray vision is one thing, but now he can see people's souls ????? 😕

In smallvilee Supes has displayed everything rom healing powers, to T.K. All in all is there any limit to what Superman can do !!!!!!! Are his powers really Solar based, or is he some divine manifestation ?

Does Superman need a NEW explanation for his powers ? Should a revamp, simillar to Byrne's 1985' make over' take place after the crisis ? IMO this should happen ASP, as things are getting ridiculous !!!!!

You know, they could be just be taking the same path Marvel has with overpowering all the telepaths and just shift all of Superman's powers to being tp/tk based.

If you think about it, there's nothing Superman can do that you can't do with tk.

Exactly !!!!!!!! Use something like Extra Dimensional powers or T.K. !!!!

It was said in the old man of steel comics from the original post-crisis reboot of Superman, that he had the TK field he projects over things. [This is where Gladiator ripped it off from] The scientists had him lift the Cadmus building and discribed how his TK field held it together for him to be able to lift it... describing why things don't utterly fall apart when he grabs them.. it's also how his suit stays together during world-ending type blasts.
The concept is NOT new.

However he is not limited TO his TK... He is still able to use all of his other powers WITHOUT it. He is STILL Superstrong, as in that very described comic, it said, he uses his PHYSICAL power to lift things, then keeps them aloft easily with his telekinetic field.

But they could just as easily retract it.

What I'm saying is, he's saying Superman's powers need a discription... when it's already been done, and hasn't really changed. Superman DOES have telekinetic powers. This is also how SUPERBOY, made from SUPERMAN'S DNA has TK powers.

Superman CAN do anything,Superman Prime could resurrect people and had NO weaknesses.

The costume is *stutters*alright but it could be better.If they made the costume he had from ''The Death and Return of Superman'' saga,it'd be cooler or some kind of Kryptonian armor costume.

You can always have Tim Burton's movie design.

Thats a misconception, superman prime did not resurrect Lois it was a superman from the fifth dimension that did.

Thats my scan, if you notice carefully it says lzyxmltpz helps Superman to recreate her. Help could mean anything as in when a little girl wants to help her mommy cook. Mom doesnt need her to perform the task, but lets her help or do some simple side task. On panel, they only show Prime performing the feat.

I think it would be awful, he missies the concept on so many things - Big Fish is OK as are some of his other films but his concept of dark ness is never solid enough to be dark it a kind of colourful, camp darkness. It would be a disaster to use him.
