This is, quite possibly, the most pissed off Spider-Man has EVER been!

A couple of decent feats in here and scans 12 & 13 show why people without powers shouldn't f**k with Spider-Man!

Backstory: The Chameleon has been seriously messing up Peter Parker's life (not realising that he's Spider-Man) on the advice of an unknown third party (you find out who in the last couple of scans)

Prior to this Chameleon had created "Simulacrum" robots of Pete's dead parents, reintroduced them into his life for a few months, then ordered them to kill Spidey, forcing Spidey to destroy robots that he's come to believe were his real parents.... so he's a tad upset:

Spidey's artist during this time did a great job. I've never enjoyed ASM art better than during that era (the first ASM I ever owned was in there somehwere...he fights Scorpion with Black cat...it was maybe 5 issues before this). His poses are always unique and strangely spider-like.

I don't know about most pissed ever. I might have to award that to Goblin's ass-whupping after Gwen died. But he certainly was angry.

And damnit, with the new ASM's, I want a scanner more than ever. As soon as is possible (which might still be a few months) I'll get Iron Spider scans up here.

well i've got that Spider-Man/Black Cat/Scorpion fight in TPB (outside the Tinkerer's lab.... right?)

and i've got the last 10-12 years worth of ASM & SSM (and other Spidey titles)

so if there are any specific requests...... 🙂

P.S..... my scanner only cost £30 (British Pounds), they're not that expensive.... i just got the cheapest one i could find

So this isn't plot-revealing, but here's some new stuff from Spidey's "The Other" story arc that I thought was interesting.

Spider-Man now has a a night vision that allows him to see in absolute darkness. He can also cling to objects/people/buildings/etc. with any part of his body, not just his hands and feet.

An extended fight with Kingpin. Spidey has a broken arm (in a sling) during the fight. I took out a page or two, not because anything bad happens to Spidey, but because there wasn’t a ton of fight-related stuff. The vast majority of it is here (from issue 197)

Besides being a good fight for Spider-Man, this could also be seen as a durability-respect post for the Kingpin, since technically Spider-Man doesn’t beat him. Reading through these has actually given me a healthy respect for the fat crime boss…he’s written tougher than the majority of Spidey’s opponents, including mainstays like Goblin and Doc Ock.

ASM Issue #194 was a horrible issue for Marvel…

nope. I think it's the one with "revelation", the one near the death of ben reilly. Read and had the comic before but like every other old comic that i've had, got sold last year.
