You listed the bad ones, yes, but there are good songs, if not artists.I personally like Ciara. I don't know why.
I think it's because of her incredibly seductive singing voice.
I agree with AC Ciara is a horrible singer.
I'm not TOO into R&B. But I do LOVE Alicia Keys. I don't care if you agree or not AC, Alicia Keys is a GREAT singer

Yeah, but it did an excellent job of making fun of the exaggerated negative effects that people often say happens when you download music.
I agree that people exaggerate effects but it's worrying that people think it's ok to do because some of them are already rich, when that's not the point. Great episode though.
French: I really like Alicia Keys actually. I don't get why you said "I don't care if you agree or not." As if my disagreeing would have been wrong on account of you liking her.

Yeah. I think you'll find that if most people will honestly admit that it's stealing and as such, morally wrong. I think most people just decieve themselves into thinking "Well, it's not a tangible item that I'm stealing, I can't hold it or see it, so it's alright." While, it's true, it's not tangible, it's still something that legally needs be purchased in order to enjoy and thus shouldn't be enjoyed for free.
I doubt that South Park really set out to say "downloading music is okay" (if anything, I think they were saying that in some cases, it's understandable, thoughs still technically wrong). Just to make fun of the people who demonize it and victimize the artists and act like that if you download music the musicians will starve and go broke or something.

Yeah, that is a bit of a silly misconception.
Random music point: Dredg are playing a few dates in Cali soon, might wanna go check it out.
French: Songs in A Minor was her debut. The Diary of Alicia Keys is her second.

Everyone's down to NIN now. Only when a band get progressively shitter do a lot of people like them, as NIN have. I have ammo to back this up out the ying yang, as a warning to anyone preparing to dispute these claims.Audioslave are the better band there, by a stroke.
Also, don't burn albums.

It just says San Fransisco on their website, which is too far away for me to go see them. Looks like last month they had a string of CA concerts that I missed. Go me.

Oh dear...If I had any faith in human taste left it'd be gone now.

Taste varies from person to person, and saying things like "People that like this have no taste." Is another way of saying "I alone decide what’s good and what isn’t, and whoever doesn’t concur is an idiot." People have different tastes, just because you like alternatives to mainstream, doesn’t mean you have to put other people down, either directly or indirectly because of the kind of music or movies they like. Voice your opinion in a less insulting manner. 😬
I like alternative music too, and I don’t like most main stream stuff, so in a sense I agree with what you say. So if you’re going to say things like that, say "I don’t like this and that." instead of "That’s sh*t." or "who ever listens to this is stupid." Or whatever. Not direct quotes, but close none the less.
No hard feelings, I agree with some of your opinions, just don't voice them in such a harsh manner.
