Chase just stood there after Shade left.

(what do you wanna go*picks up a baseball bat and shotgun*)

(A gun and a bat. I'm soooooo scared.)
Chase turned to Arnold.
"What was that about....."

((jeez shade wat the hell r u trying to do. stop controlling voldy and not letting him kill you like he would if he was controlling himself))
I have absolutely no idea. But I have to go talk with Firenze to see what Shade's deal is, and to see where he is. Does anyone want to come with?"

"Anythings better then sitting here."
He said good bye to the others and followed Arnold.

"Alright, here we go." Arnold and Chase apparated to Firenze's clan, and immediately Arnold showered him with questions, but unfortunately, they had to wait until the night, so that the stars could be used.

Chase decided he couldnt wait and said for Arnold to get him when it was time. He returned to the group.

She glared at Chase, trying not to hit him again, but the anger inside her was rising. "How dare you kill him!" she yelled, "How dare you murder the only person that truly cared for me!"

"That was back when I was heartless. I'm sorry, okay?"

"No, Chase its not okay! You have no idea how much he meant to me!" and she swung her fist at him again.

Chase grabbed her arm and pulled her in close.
"I am sorry. I cant do anything else. Please dont make me hurt you."
He let her go.

Alex stepped back, and hung her head. "I'm sorry..." she said quietly. Then she looked up and said "See...I was a hunter...a... vampire hunter...the leader, everyone followed me... even my family, and everyone frowned upon vampires, and they were even burn at the stake. But one night I was careless... the night I was.. bitten... I ran... knowing that if I were to be caught I would meet the same end. I even tried to destroy myself... but he took me in... hid me from the hunters that I once led... he didn't care if I was a monster.."

"Just like me, arnold, and, well, forget Shade. We dont care what you are. Just WHO you are..."

"Well. We best get practicing! The tourney starts tomorrow! I hope you've been training."

"I was wondering when that started, and you were my practice," Alex said smiling
