The anger was rushing through her veins, and her body grew tense. "How dare you!" she yelled. "How dare you bring that up now!" Alex was so outraged she could barely speak. He was going to regret saying that. Yes, Alex remembered all to well how she was treated as a Death Eater, but once she was changed many came to fear her. He would learn the hard way to do so too.
"You wanted my help and I gave it to you. And then." He sighed and turned away from her."Just as I started to feel something for you you betrayed me to the Dark Lord". He turned around with tears in his eyes."How could you, how dare you betray me after all the help i gave you. After all the love I gave you when you had no one to give it. You betrayed me to a life of pain and anger. What happened to you." He drew her close to his face."I trusted you Alex". He drew he in and gave a passionate kiss. He put all his love for her into it and then let go.
Alex stepped away from him, what was he playing at? He was using her past against her. Alex was not going to let him mock her like this. "Love has nothing to do with this Shade... And you know it! I came to you because you were the only one who would, but you now and even then doubted I could become something more! That's all you saw me as, a runt! A worthless human looking for someone to care for her and you took advantage of that! And then I became this souless being, and you left! You were afriad of my power! Afriad of my strength! Afriad that I could fight you!" Alex paused for a moment, breathless from her speach, then continued. "You left me... You left me devastated... but I moved on Shade. I never expected to see you again... I never wanted to. After all that we have been through... you were nothing more than a fading memory..."
His expresion changed. A darker look crossed over his face as he made his final decision." If that's the way it's going to be then fine" He pulled out a knife and backed off a bit. "Protecting you wasn't enough, and I see the vampire in you has turned you away from me. You don't have but a bit of the Alex I once knew left in you." He held the knife ready and then advanced. Ready for anything that was to come
Alex was not going to let him threaten her, even if he had no chance in winning this fight. She attacked him at full force, letting the knife pierce her shoulder, but that barely phased her. Something like a snarl emitted from her throat, as she pinned him to the ground. He was going to endure this souless life, maybe then would he understand what she has gone through.
Shade was pinned to the ground. This was what he had been waiting for since Alex had been bitten. But he wasn't going down without a fight. He put his feet into her stomach and kicked upward. As he stood up he took the knife and threw it away. Alex jumped at him and he caught the full force of the blow, knocking him senseless. He lay there on the ground wainting for the inevitable.
An evil smirk crossed her face as she spat her own blood on the ground next to him. The kick had hurt, but she was not going to let something like that stop her... she had had worse struggles. Alex bent closer to his throat, running a hand through his hair, she gently kissed his neck, then sank her razor sharp fangs into his neck. Once she knew she had drank enough, she removed her fangs and slowly stood up, standing over the unconcious Shade.
Shade stood up and rubbed his neck. " I never knew it would be so different the second time" he rubbed his neck and put down his collar on the other side to reavel two bite marks on the other side. " No one bit me like that though"He laughed. " You know what you have to do now don't you alex"
