Arnold awoke from another long night in the Shrieking Shack. He smelled something...blood...fresh blood...but not human...vampire. He ran out and whistled for his pet phoenix. It landed on his shoulder and he started to run towards the school. The doors had been blasted open and he ran inside, viewing the scene. He turned his head to Felix and said, "Heal Alex please." The phoenix flew over to Alex and dropped a tear on her wounds. After that, it flew back to its perch in the Hog's Head. "What the HELL is happening here?!" Arnold yelled, not directing the question to anyone in particular.

Raven walked down the 'Hall Of Magical Creatures And Beings'

Muttering "Damn bird..." Alex swatted away the phoenix as it healed her. She then realized Arnold could smell her blood, and had sent it to help her, something she could do on her own.
Upon hearing Arnolds yell, she rolled her eyes and followed his voice. "Hello Arnold, why all the yelling?" she asked with heavy sarcasm.

Arnold smiled at her cheeky remark. He ran over to her and said in a low whisper,"Is this BETTER? Jeez Alex what the hell happened here?"

Alex sneered at him as he whispered in her ear. "Yes, much better thank you," she said, once again using sarcasm. "Chase, er isn't quite himself at the moment, he's reponsible for most of this mess." Alex stopped for a moment then continued, "Where have you been?"

"Trust me, you don't want to know. Is he going to be as insane as Shade now. Damn, we can't have two of them."

"Talk about it... I'ts been a few hours since I've seen or heard him, planning something probably. He always was hanging on the edge of insanity... guess he just couldn't hold on any longer." Alex decided not to push the subject of where he had been, she was a bit curious yes, but she didn't care that much.

"Is he after you?" said Arnold in a normal voice. If Chase was, Arnold wouldn't let him get the chance to kill her as he has always tried. He could not lose another friend, especially one who nearly understood him.

But Alex wasn't blind, she could see right past his coolness. "I can take care of myself, Arnold. But thanks for the offer... Chase has always had it in for me from day one, Raven too now that I think about it. But I'm still here aren't I?"

"Yeah I guess so. Hey, it's not that easy to kill a vampire anyway, especially one of yous ability." said Arnold. "Hey, where is Chase anyway?"

"I don't know. He was around here earlier... harassing people. But I Haven't seen him in atleast a few hours. I'm sure we would be able to hear him or see him if he was up to anything... He always like to draw attention to himself."

"Good point."

Shade healed the stab wound and got up. He apparated to raven and grabbed her by the wrist, putting her into submission. "You think you're tough little girl" he said as he twisted raven's arm even more."Think you can handle yourself around the big league" he still kept twisting. " Well you know what, you can't handle the simplest of it." He finally twisted her arm so hard it snapped." Don't you ever think of harming her, or your arm won't be the only thing broken. Petrificul Totallus." Raven became stiff as a board and shade walked away.

Luckily A care taker at the museum saw what happened to Raven and ran over to help her. After undoing the spell and healing her arm, he helped her up. all she heard was a males voice"Whats a lady like yourself, laying on a floor like this?" Raven looked up at her rescuer and blushed. He had dark eyes and and dark hair and tan complexion. "Are you okay?" he asked. Raven nodded "I am fine...Shade is just..well he is.. total fruit loop. He use to be my 'friend'...something happened, he went totally mad and has been getting worse. Horrible inflection. He is a total basket case." The young boy (about age 19) smiled at Raven and laughed he replied "Sounds like a complete nutso".Raven smiled back and said "So you work here?....think you could help me out?" The Boy grinned "Well that depends if you would be so kind to let me buy you dinner". Raven blushed smiling forgetting about a Chase for a moment and said yes.
