Harry Potter: Hogsmeade

Raven walked to Arnold "thanks but no thanks. I wanna get in some practice too. but here take this" Raven handed Arnold a cupon to her store. "this is for the drink". Raven then handed Shade his change from the candy, she then hurried out and to go find Chase.

shade hurried after her"raven wait up"he caught up with her"when can you have your next practice, you really need to start."

"I dunno.....how about after practice?"

"I might enter this contest too, I'll get some practice in after i close up."

Blood trickled from Chase's forehead. The boar he was fighting showed no signs of slowing. Chase tossed his knife into the air and pointed his wand at the boar.
"Stupify!"
The boar was shot backwards and Chase put his knife into it, killing it. He tossed onto his pile of twelve others. Just then an arrow shot past his head. He turned and saw twenty centaurs surrounding him. Shocked, all he could say was,
"Dinner, anyone?"

"Jeez,"Arnold said while handing out a few drinks," A lot of people like these Valentine's Day drinks, I can't wait until 4th of July when I can serve my poppin' drinks."

The centaurs dragged Chase off to a cliff.
"I didn't know there were cliffs around here! So, you gonna throw me off?" A centaur looked at him. He was built and looked angry. He spoke.
"Why are you here?"
"I'm........training. For a school contest."
"At Hogwarts?"
"Of course! Where else would I be fro...........Oh darn."
"So, you are Dumbledore's lackey?"
"He's dead."
"So? You could still serve him. Throw him off the cliff."
"I don't think so! Impedimenta!!!!" The centaurs stop and Chase jumps off the cliff.

Chase slides down the cliff side. He reached the bottom and ran into an acromantula.
"Oh damn......More fun....."
He pulled out his wand.
"Aveda Kedavra!"
The Acromamtula slumped over and chase ran to it.
"THIS will make a good dinner....."
He grabbed it and apparated to the outer edges of the forest.....

Raven made it to the pitch and looked around only seeing a few hufflepuffs practicing for Qudditch..."where the hell is he?" She turned around and bumped into another Slytherin. Raven looked up to realize it was a classmate "hey" Raven said trying to get past him. He stopped her and said "you coming to Qudditch practice now?". Raven shook her head no "nah...I gotta, find someone..its important. sorry". The boy glared at her "whats more important then Quidditch, we need you, the game this Saturday against Hufflepuff". Raven was still tyring to get past, but he kept blocking her "well" he said. Raven looked at him saying "LOOK! I told you I cant make it tonight, you dont need me tonight. This is an emergency" she said lying she continued by saying "Look at Hufflepuff practing, they arent in there best prime this year will win gaurnteed...I need to find someone now move!". Raven pushed the boy aside and headed off the pitch. the boy yelled to her "looking for that Gryffindork?" Raven turned around and took out her wand. "you want to make something of it?" she said pissed off. The boy shook his head no and walked off. Raven then went to look somewhere else for Chase.

Alex started to walk over to the pitch to watch other practice, but a large figure at the edge of the forest distracted her, "What the..?" She headed over there to see who it was. She found Chase holding a giant spider and rolled her eyes..." Just practicing?"

He looked up at Alex, bloody and grinnig.
"Never felt more alive!"
He looked past her and saw Raven.
"RAVEN!!!!!"

Raven seen chase and started to run towards him and Alex. "hey guys" she said panting from running. she then saw the spider and backed up "OMG".."Chase why do you have a giant icky spider"

"I'm glad one of us feels alive.. Hey Raven." Alex said, her left hand in a tight fist, her nails digging into her palm, although it was getting easier for her to see and smell blood.

"Spoils from my fighting....I mean, practicing! I just killed it cause it tried to kill me! So....ready for the tryouts? Just an hour away....."
He looked at her and smiled his biggest smile.

Raven looked at Alex and grinned "looking a bit tense Alex" she then turned and looked to chase and smiled "I am ready...but perhaps we should rest a bit. we will need our energy"..."and the spider tried killing you?" Raven said worried

"Of course! That's how acromantulas are! Rest? I dont need...that much rest. And, you looked worried. Why?" He dropped the spider and walked over to her.

"if you want to be faster then them and well energized for whatever is thrown at you, your gonna need rest"..."because you could have been hurt, thats why" she looked away and focused on the hideous spider.

"I'm okay! Don't worry about it. You're begining to be like I used to be! Worried and scared! Cheer up. How about you and Alex have a little practice duel?"

Alex thought about it but decided to turn down the offer "No thanks Chase, I'm good."
