Assajj Ventress vs. Jango Fett

Jango Fett has one of his six pistols, without a jetpack.

Assajj Ventress has her two lightsabers. She can use the Force to jump, though.

Who would win?

Well his jetpack is his most useful weapon while fighting a lightsaber wielding opponent, and rapid fire too (two guns). We all saw how quickly he got down to Mace without Jetpack and with one gun, he hadent a chance of getting away.

Asajj is fast, so I'm leaning towards her.

Jango has a good chance. Remember that he was doing a very good job against Obi-wan in ep2 and that Obi-wans form is designed for stopping blaster bolts.

Yeah, that's also true.. Jango could be greatly underestimated because of Mace pwning him.

You have to remember that his jetpack wasn't working when he fought Mace, or else Mace would have had a much harder time defeating him.

And that Mace is on the level of Count Dooku, who pwned someone who defated Asajj(Obi-wan).

Jango is an exceptional fighter, and he is a quick shot. Assaj Ventress is no where near Mace Windu's level, and he disposed of Jango easily. But is this still enough to warrant him victory? No. Ventress has deflected shots from clone troopers, who have repeating blaster rifles. Jango has no chance in melee combat, and if he is stripped of his jet pack, he no longer possesses the aerial advantage, and thus, the range advantage. Not to mention Ventress is adept at closing ground quickly. It would be a 3-5 minute fight. But Ventress would win.

Has been done before. I think Jango could probably have beaten Asajj when she first emerged but by the time of Cestus Deception or even Victories and Sacrifices she could probably beat Jango.

That did almost nothing.

Well, Jango is no rookie at taking out curved-hilt, dual-wielding, pale, skinny, female Dark Jedi. But I say Asajj takes the cake.

Yeah it did. It caused him to drop his lightsaber.

It disarmed him. Obi had no weapon. That was enough to keep Jango alive.

The Force is a Jedi's greatest weapon, not a lightsaber.

Yes, which explains why jedi kill all of their opponents with.... lightsabers.

Assaj takes this one. Regardless, Jango needs a lot of work for this. He had all the advantages in the fight with Obi-Wan yet he wasn't able to defeat him. Assaj is arguably better than the AOTC version of Obi, and without a Jetpack, it'll be much harder for Jango to get the upper hand.
