Speaking of The Devil's Rejects, was that movie any good? Lions Gate Films has a history of 'gross' films, but that doesn't mean they suck...Nor, of course, does it mean they are good.
However, the twist at the end of Saw made the movie completely worth it.
I enjoyed The Devils Rejects. It was a good revenge/exploitation film, much better then House of 1000 Corpses, IMO. You should give it a rental, see if you like it.
I hated Saw, though, especially the twist. It served no relevant purpose other then being "surprising". The whole "twist at the end to make up for a generic movie" thing has gotten really stale, and most of the time the twists do nothing but offer a cheap, irrelivent surprise.
But, to each his own.
