But he can't really beat the Spectre.. In that Emperor Joker series, they had Hal/Spectre in a chair floating through space or whatever. This can only be explained as a fault in the host. Many times through the Spectre's series, the HOST will get attacked in some odd way or another, [obviously always a VERY powerful person.].. the Spectre-Force is unable to act during this without the human host as a judge for the guilty.
You'll notice the moment he got free, BOOM, the storyline was over?
Or that in Day of Vengeance, the Imp didn't want to fight the Spectre, and pretty much knew it was hopeless, Spectre said "i'll give you one warning..." then he just banished the 5th dimension imp?
