straight to video horror
what are your recommendations for great / good straight to video horror movies of the past 15 years?
movies that not many people have heard about or seen...
searching through the walmart and blahdvd sites I have come across heaps of good looking movies that look like sweet b grade horror.

I liked Coffee and Ciggarettes! I dunno why you didn't like it....I was so excited when I saw that the White Stripes were in it! I also liked the parts with Steve Buscemi, Wu Tang Clan, Bill Murray, and the very last one with the old guys listening to music. That was such a good movie!
All of Bruce Campbells movies are horror/comedies!

I felt it was a bit pretentious and indulgent, i liked some of the conversations, eg, when the White Stripes were talking about the Coil or whatever it was they had and also the wutang. Also I like the concept but overall it really bored me.
On the topic of Straight to video, I rented "Cold Grip" the other day and it is terrible, do not rent this film, very low budget, filmed on DV and therefore has no atmosphere it has a cliched story,bad acting and no gore or horror.
