I've tried soooo hard to figure this one out. I've checked every forum imaginable and have got this question posted at most of the popular quiz sites. Here's some help for those who want to continue the search.

One thing I noticed. It looks like it's an Apple ][ display on a PC monitor (the monitor says "Sperry" on it). The display has the 4 lines of text on the bottom that the Apple ][ has.

Is it an Apple ][ game?

I checked the movie credits, and no credit is given to the game publisher, which there would (should) be if it was a real game. There are these credits:

Computer Display Engineered by David Satin (David Satin is now EVP, Secretary, and Treasurer of SMA Realtime, Inc.)

So, I think it isn't a real game, and instead a special effect.
