Current Gladiator vs Current Supes
Anyone read the latest Captain Universe issue's ? Gladiator seems to have had a power down !!!!!!! 🙁
Knocked over by the Thing, what ever happened to surviving 'Solar System destroying blasts'?
Not fast enough to catch a tidal wave ? I thought he was 100 x faster than the speed of light ?

That's totally insane, and definitely depowering someone like Gladiator to where he can be knocked over by the THING (of ALL characters), and cannot even move fast enough to keep up with a tidal wave (meaning that he is not even faster than the speed of sound since tsunamis travel at below mach 1 speed in deep water, and slow down greatly as the water becomes shallower).
This whole depowering thing is too much (which is why I was actually happy when I got a hold of All Star Superman).
As for Gladiator ....it is one thing to take away some of the more obscene powers (eg the deity level abilities) .....but making him into a character that finds the Thing as a challenge!!!!!!!

I haven't got my hands on it yet. Probably tomorrow. I heard he had a pretty good showing against Uni-Powered Invisible Woman though. As for the rest, well, that's just how it goes for Glads these days. He seems to be getting weaker and weaker. Which isn't a bad thing as long as they don't take it to far.

Although i wouldn't want to remind you that it was a significantly De powered Uni power ! Great strength feat tho !!!!!!!!! Him and IW create a huge tidal wave with about two punches ! Nothing Current Supes isn't capable of, tho ! 😉

Very good ending to what has otherwise been a rather disappointing mini ! I bought all the issues today, but the first three don't even come close. The SS's appearance maybe good tho ! Gladiator does look impressive but he is beaten quite badly by the uni power, and he requires it extra speed to catch up with a tidal wave ! Thing does floor him as well ! Although you could argue that Aquaman (A Thing level character) can floor Superman !
