USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

I doubt I can take down an Osokan in one shot, but I will do my best to keep it short.

(Just fire first, and don't stop firing, back up to stay away from him as fast as possible without ruining your shots. If he's alive when he reaches you, you won't be much longer.)

Depends on his speed, I should think, and my rolls. 😉

Damn it, Brit, I'm gone for a day and you get us into a battle with an Osokan? Geez...

Rhys will draw his pistol and aim at the Osokan, standing ready beside Sasha.

Oh, if number two wants to join in, there is Osokan thug number two available...

Sasha orders Rhys to stand down. "I'll need you to get me out of here," she adds.

Rhys grudgingly holsters his gun. "As you command, Duchess..."

Ranad will offer to fight in your place if you wish, Sasha. Vormax will accept that.

Well, the freighter Captain isn't happy.

"What about fuel?" he asks.

(Is this a heavy hint that Sasha shouldn't take this fight myself?)

Sasha lowers her blaster, then, and allows Ranad to fight in her place.

"If you insist."

Err, no, nto actually a hint, but I checked your character and was reminded of the Merit, and you having paid for the Merit I wanted to make it clear that the option was available.

He's not necessarily better than you- Allies tend to have much less Fortune, for example.

Hmm. Well, actually, Sasha will decide to keep herself as the fighter, in order to show some sense of courage or something heroic like that. 😉

"If you try to get past the blockade with these weapons, you will die. I have seen another freighter try and be utterly annilated. If you need fuel, you may be able to get past, if you destroy your records, and say you are picking up material. But make any mention of this or the weapons you will be killed. We are your only real option."

"Quite the optimist, aren't you?" says the Captain. "You got the money?"

Here goes then, Sasha!

Frame 2

Sasha: 2/0

Osokan Thug: 3/0

You first!

Sasha will keep her distance from the Osokan and open fire with the light Naboo pistol, taking advantage of the Double Fire capability.

I'll give you a one frame bonus for Gunslinger, in fact.

You fire out a volley at the approaching Osokan, making two attack with your Light Pistol. Including your bonus to hit, you roll 11 and 19. Youir target to hit was 10, and so your maximum Outcome was 15. A success by 1 and 5 respectively.

Your pistol's damage is 10. Unfortunately, so is his toughness, so he takes Outcome damage alone.

One of your shots clips him, but he seems to just ignore it... closing in takes him three frames.

Frame 4

Sasha: 4/0

Osokan Thug: 6/6

Sasha takes a frame to put more distance between the Osokan and herself, then fires again.

When he closes in, Sasha will active dodge his knife attack.

He'll make up the frame in a frame so that is kinda circular.

7 and 14. Another four damage to him!

He strikes against you. His strike is a 19! A full outcome of 5. His basic damage against you is six, so that is a nasty slash across you for 11 damage!

Frame 8

Sasha: 8/11

Osokan Thug: 9/10

Sasha unleashes another volley of firepower at the Osokan, then dodges his following attack.

16 and 13! Both hits and good! And his seven is a miss!

Frame 12

Sasha: 12/11

Osokan Thug: 12/13

Oh dear. He seems less hurt than you thought he was!

Player privilege is yours.

"Your regenerative abilities are impressive," Sasha says, before firing again at the porcine thug, then rolling to the side as he swings again with a dodge.
