As ever, Arvus doesn't care...

Arvus will maneuver himself to Rylis's ship, to get Rylis involved in the attacks on himself. He'll spend a fortune point if it's required. If he can fire while doing this, he'll shoot at the Raptor hit for 25.

Dodge two attacks.

Ooooooooh, chance to play with flamethrower?

Meh, Rylis is heading over there. Shooting the raptor with 11 damage while moving if possible.

(personally I thought the raptors would split their attacks, considering that they're being shot at from two different directions...but apparently they're not that smart.)

Err, they ARE that smart, is the reason, Rylis... why do what you want them to do? They are taking out the soft targets first- much faster.

(Actually, Coll`s final battleplan is on page 253, not 153).

By the way, how much grenades our forces have? I think those are going to be useful.

Since Rylis is coming over, Arvus will remain by his own ship.

Oh, and the Raptors want me dead because I nuked them, as well...

In comes Rylis! I'll call the move & shoot four frames. 14, 15, 17 from Rylis- good shooting!

Svaes you the trouble of blowing frames moving. Arvus. a 189 from you... is a kill! Your bowcaster blasts into its biting head at pointblank range, blowing it open.

I shall keep Lyle firing. 5, 9, 14, 17. Four damage and twelve damage.

Six attacks on each of you... then another six, from frame deficit!

Arvus- spent two fortune points so far to keep you up, and all that dodging leaves you well out of things.

STRATEGIC PLANNING PHASE

We are now, step by step, building up for the finale, in this final amount of time before the shield goes down.

First off, let's make sure everyone knows their place. For the Imperials, this is set.

Some people are involved strategcially- you confer on movements each turn, pull off any special effects you can manage (for example, Star Destroyer bombardment), and watch the results. It is possible fgor a strategic player to be caught up in fights- most likely a General- but it is not their general purpose.

Some people are involved tactically. You chose where you are alone (possibly under orders), and take part in fights based upon your location in the battle.

The Commissar, Captains, Generals and Squadron Leader are all strategic.

Commanders, Agents and independants are all tactical.

And now time to make those raptors toast. Literally.

(If anyone hasn't noticed, magic words for me in this game are "flamethrower will be useful". I've been waiting the entire game to try it out, hehe.)

So Rylis shall fire her flamer at the raptors (preferably at undamaged ones as it causes continued damage).

Stupid Raptors...

Arvus will keep clear of Rylis's flamer. Is there any way he could get himself into his ship and lock up tight?

Otherwise, keep dodging...

Yes, guys, please try and avoid getting hit by fire...😛

Coll will be wearing one point of armor, by the way. Just in case.

Well, is any of senior officers answering my concerns?( mentioned on the previous page I think.)

I think that we are still following Coll`s plan, though Commisar isn`t sure how long the orbital bombardment should last before troops enter.

Edit- I think I mat be impatient, step by step aproach is good, especially with Empire`s superior discpline and organization...

Lyle will try and stay behind Rylis. It's not cowardly, it's practical!

He'll shoot at the four most wounded targets.

Ok, Rylis flames up, and I reckon she can hit three targets.

She rolls a 10, which is sixteen damage to all of them.

The problem is that you are not actually killing any of them. So you've entirely failed to save Arvus by targeting undamaged ones.

Arvus, you can't escape for the simple reason thhat you aren't acting- it's not your frame. And it never will be as you are dodging so.

Lyle, you can't fire at four things, only two. 11/4, 6/17

So that leaves us with the exact same number of attackers again.

That's Arvus' last fortune gone- could have been worse.

Note you are holding us up here on frames, Lyle, so please make use of them.

Lyle, shoot things, damnit.

Rylis will fire with her flamethrower again, this time going for some of the damaged ones (ones hit for 12 if possible).

(see, my tactic I like to go with of shoot things and the others finish them would probably work better...if they were actually shooting.)

Lyle, aim for the ones on 29 damage. You'll drop 'em easy.

Ulrand would like to put through a request to Vader, asking for TIE Bombers to take out anti-aircraft batteries in Lanzar, so General Coll can land troops inside.

Lyle shoots at both the ones on 29, and then the on on 19 and one on 29 and the one on 19 and a 12 (preferably, if any are available, one Rylis isn't flaming).

Grand...

Arvus will dodge half of the incoming attacks. Hopefully his colleagues will be able to put down more of them...

Denied.

Though you do have a single squadron of bombers still under your personal control.
