USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

And in today's bout of reckless destruction...

Eerin goes for a Cut and Roll attack on Jaiden... a hit! jaiden flames back; the 'roll' part of the Cut and Roll gives Eerin a free dodger but it misses anyhow. he ain't for frying so far! But he might be for troopering. He takes another trooper hit. Got to be said... a LOT of them around, Eerin.

Rylis goes for a couple of Hunters with a flame attack- sdhe tries to pick which two, but it;'s not a magic flame attack; you get your p[rime target and another near it. Not her best shot, but it gets something done. In return, a couple of Hunters turn their attention to her. Rylis is not dodging them, which turns out to swing not too well for her because they both hit with theit stabby knives they employ against her.

Coll goes for one of Rylis; targets but his firing is all over the place. He uses a Fortune-assisted dodge to avoid Drakkon.

Lyle, not posting, is having the heck blown out of him. Arvus shifts weapons and bowcasts at Kyle, missing by a huge margin.

The STs are arriving.

Why is Drakkon not burning more?

Because he is hella strong 😛

Burning damage occurs at the start of each sequence and is completely nullified by his regeneration.

Oh my! I forgot to regenerate the Hunters. Will update that next.

Um, Ush, I did post:

So Lyle's not at the base any longer, but within melee range of the Rebels, etc?

If so, he'll attempt to trip Rhys (and will switch from guns to knife).

If not, he'll continue to advance on them, shooting at Kyle.

I have a question about the rules - what exactly is the effect of being prone?

Oh, also, dodge player attacks. (Up to two).

This is annoying... Cut and Roll on Eerin. Dodge his next attack.

Oops! Well I saved you frames, Lyle, as Kyle would have hit you anyway.

Prone loses you frames. Also means you canot dodge Heavy Weapons fire, a combo that did for Janthis.

He hit me for 14 damage? Man, I think this might not have been such a good idea after all.

Am I in melee range? And, if at all possible, can I use trip to push the rebels into the pit?

Kyle double shoots (light pistols) and with four levels of Gunslinger he double shoots darn well

Yes you are within melee range.

Hm. Okay, I'd like to try and trip Kyle into the pit. Or just trip him at all, to be honest.

Dodge attacks from the other two - though if I fail to trip him, then dodge attacks from Kyle.

I have an idea, Trick, if you'll hear it out.

Trip someone, move the hell away, and let me give them a blast from my heavy gun?

Having narrowly dodged another flailing blow from the Guildmaster, Coll looks to Rylis.

"Bounty hunter, get me out of here!!" he shouts, frantically.

"No worries, General, I feel it's time we leave this battle..." Rylis replies calmly.

Okay, Ush, you know how you said Rylis might be able to carry Coll a short distance with the jetpack?

I'm thinking it's time for us to bail out, here.

Sorry guys, but at this point, Rylis and Coll are not going to last much more than another turn or two. And though it's a pity I won't be getting my revenge on Kyle or taking down Drakkon...survival's a bit more important, and I can always get Kyle another time.

So Rylis is going to snag Coll and get the hell out of there using her jetpack; dodge one attack if any are incoming though since both of us are ahead of Drakkon and the Hunters on frames it likely won't be needed.

Okay, Arvus will simply fire his bowcaster at Kyle again.

Ok, time to start winding up the action, and we're breaking out of frames now.

Lyle is going for Kyle in close combat, which Lyle is well trained in. But the issue up top just became complicated; a volley of ST fire into the structure has caused another set of great cracks to appear all over it, and now the whole lot is starting to collapse.

Rylis is feeling with her jetpack; she just abot manages to hoist Coll out of the immediate melee zone before she has to drop him, and Coll can Fortune-scurry away into the trooper crowds; not his proudest moment.

Eerin, trying to disengage, is overcome by a blade hack from Jaiden, bringing the great bug down. Troopers everywhere; not a good situation.

Arvus can bring Janthis clear of things.

Ok then guys time to do what Imperials do best Run for our LIVES!

😛

Lyle, now might be a good time to withdraw, unless you feel like falling into the Pit...

Coll does not even thank Rylis when they set down, instead scurrying away to the safety of the AT-STs and his soldiers.

Screw it, I haven't used any fortune yet. Lyle grabs Kyle and trips him still - going for the Pit. Hopefully that'll delay the other rebels up here long enough for him to escape, which I will do using a point of fortune if necessary.

Dodge only one player attack - I'm not too worried about dropping, but I need the frames - dodging Kyle is the priority, however.

T'would be good indeed if Arvus fired on the rebels as soon as I'm moving away, Zink.

He has to grab me and drag me away 😛

Drakkon can just escape now if he wants?

Coll, order AT-ST`s to slaughter them- it doesn`t matter if troopers die as well. 25 AT-ST`s should take care of few dozens of Osokans.

Jaiden- you may consider taking Eerin behind our lines as prisoner....or finishing him.
