Revamp FX work for Superman I & II?

Now with Superman Returns tying into events of those films, and hearing II will get a Director's Cut of Richard Donner's version ( before he was pushed off for Richard Lester), maybe they could do a Star Wars-like updating of some FX work from then, to fit in with the new movie. They both still look fine, but II in particular had some fake-looking modelwork.

No one has an opinion? Yea or nay?

When is that directors cut of Superman II coming out.

Also, I agree with you that they should redo some of the effects like Lucas did for star wars.

I have no date - perhaps they will wait to cash in on publicity from the new film.
