Gen, I like the color scheme. Symbiosis is your story or your friend's story?
Its kind of both, i write it, he gives me ideas if he has any,
for example, when i was talking to him Thursday, he thought up an amazing ending.
He's also drawing the most insane (and wrong) picture of Carnage for me, when (if) he gets it done, i'll post it here 😉

There were 5 symbiotes, none of which were ever given a canon in-book name. "Scream" came from a video game and was used on her action figure. The action figure for the green guy with tentacles was called "Lasher" and that name has stuck. The figure for the big black/grey guy was called "Riot" but that name isn't used as much. The other two, the orange male and purple female were never given names. Some fans refer to the purple one as "Shriek", but that's confusion with an another character who was Carnage's girlfriend before fever came along (the Maxium Carnage storyline).

True you are. Though, every symbiote (With the exception of the surplus that came over to Earth during the Planet of the Symbiote's Super Special) have a name. But if your talking about aliases (i.e. Eddie is known as Venom), then your dead on.
A while back, I made a list of all the Symbiotes throughout the marvel universe (or at least the main ones, so this list doesn't include what I like to call 'cameo bonds'. An example of this, would be when the Venom-clone bonded with Wolverine in the Tsunami line), here it is:
Eddie Brock – Venom
Cletus Kassidy – Carnage
Donna - Scream (is the yellow/red symbiote that appears in Lethal Protector, Separation Anxiety, The Hunted and several Spidey comics.)
Carl – Riot (the orange symbiote seen in Lethal Protector and Separation Anxiety)
Ramon – Lasher (the green symbiote that shows up in the above mentioned limited series)
Trevor – None (The gray/brown [changes with different colorists] symbiote who goes along Carl and Ramon.)
Leslie – None (the purple symbiote who is seen in the same limited series as Carl/Ramon/Trevor.)
Zeena – None (Her symbiote form is never shown, but she appears in The Hunted)
George – None (the blue symbiote working with Donna in The Hunted)
Scott Washington – Hybrid (Scott’s symbiote is the result of when all the Life Foundation symbiotes [minus Donna] merge together after their hosts are killed. The resulting symbiote is an oddly designed red symbiote. Hybrid shows up in several ‘extra’ comics Marvel threw in with some of the Venom Limited Series).
Patricia Robertson - Venom (showed up in Tsunami's Venom mini, Patricia bonds to a clone of the original Venom symbiote)

Well, I gotta agree with Orangepoindexter on this one.... Marvel's more recent writers stink. But the reason Marvel gives, is that Eddie basically had his mid-life crisis and realized that the stuff he's been doing as Venom is 'wrong'. And because of so, he decides to make amend for it. He starts by selling the Symbiote off in an auction, whom is won by the Fortunato family. With the money he gets, he decides to do one last thing to try and make up for all his wrongdoings and gives the money to some charity. After that, he tries to end his life.
Whether he is truly dead or not, we do not know. Though, based on how Marvel's writers have been going in the last few years, probably not. Something stupid, like Eddie gets rebuilt as a cyborg or something, will happen down the way. (Man, if that ever happens, I'm gonna end up shooting myself.)
