Ditto. And I also love the fact that I'm not the only woman here to have given this some thought. I appreciate when the writers and artists take a little time to make the men more enjoyable for us, the female fans.

okay I give up, the only time I got any difference in page script was when I translated it from portugal tongue. and even then Iall I got were scattered words like naked numbers.

Why, it's completely valid for emotional context. In fact, that's what I'm responding to- ah, yes, emotional context. Tasty. A sensitive portrayal of his emotional state of undress.
Seriously, it does do that nicely. That particular picture is not only the "gimme" it works as...
It's those symbiote-half-seared-off ones that cheer me with their pure salaciousness. I mean, do men in agony ever look that artfully displayed without direction to that effect? Somebody's posing them with an eye to the candy.
They do pose nicely, even in their moments of mortal pain. Way to go, boys.
It's funny- they don't do this with female symbiotes. They don't dare tap into that fan base. Half-naked men in pain is acceptable in Marvel comics, but not half-naked women in pain. So, doesn't that reflect the idea that men can be hurt without it diminishing/objectifying them, but women can't? That should be an ugly inaccuracy, but if you look at how the images would affect charactor interpretations on the recieving end... it's true! I think many fans WOULD be less likely to relate to the female charactors then.

Yes, those are my lovely sons. Brendan, Cameron, and Alex--aged 7, 6, and 4, respectively.

And, yes, I do have a couple of pics of Carnage's symbiote offspring. I could scan some more--they are on my endless friggen to-do list. In the meantime, here he is--and the name is Toxin. As I mentioned before, he was named by my beloved Venom. Toxin is a very sweet and catchy moniker, I think.
