Read my post again, I did not question the thread itself, just why the person is making threads about friends. Nothing more.
Why do I constantly ask "why this? why that?"? Because I have an opinion as well. Life isn't all apple pies and butterflies. Not everyone will agree with everyone else. Get used to it. If I have a difference of opinion am I not allowed to give voice to it? The purpose of forums are to debate topics, which mean that there will be opposing views on that topic, not everyone fawning over one ideal.
People do have a right to start threads about whatever they want, and I have a right to say what I want about said thread.
So I ask you this: Why do you constantly feel the need to argue with me just because we're not the same? Every time I comment on something dealing with you or you comment on anything dealing with me, you always get butt hurt and say "You're not the same anymore.". So what? I just don't agree with you on things, I'm still me and you can ask those close friends of mine here on KMC that I'm still the same. It's just with you and others, our views on life are completely different. We grew apart, deal with it.
