Her eyes lock with Magneto's for a moment and he can see that neither she is a fan of him. He doesn't like the look she gives him and decides to test her reflexes and durability. He turns his back and focuses on one of the older model sentinels and takes control of its body. He then flings it towards him but it misses and makes it's way towards her back.
"Now little girl, lets see what you're made of."
"Ok kids, lets get outta here."
The black dome collapsed as the large sentinal pounding on it smashed into the floor.
Matt and the kids were now in the danger room.
"Alright kids, grab a gun... if you see any sentinals come through here. Shoot first and ask questions later."
The kids stood at the ready by mounted gun turrets and laser cannons used for training in the danger room.
"I'll come back for you when the coast is clear"
Matt charged up in the air and vanished in a poof of black smoke...
*BAM* He flew up straight outta of the floor where the dome was and hit the sentinal with a powerful uppercut!
Shatter whipped around and swept out of the way as the dead sentinel dove for her under Magneto's power. She grunted and grimaced, throwing Magneto another glance as she put her hands on her own jacket which wrapped around her arms and hung swaying with her control over it. The sentinel went for her again but connected with the leather of the jacket which melded temporarily to it and the impulses began to heat the metal, slowly melted it. Her teeth showing in effort as she grimaced and set her feet in the ground. The sentinel unable to move as it slowly melted to the ground beneath it.
It took less than 20 seconds for the sentinel's outer shell to completely melt away and be swallowed up by the earth under it.
launching a small explosive charge at the disoriented sentinal's face.
Matt then ignored the sentinal and calmly walked over to rogue smiling...
*BOOOM* the sentinal's head exploded and it's body fell to the floor.
"Hey Rogue, kids are in the danger room...they should be safe there"
He winked at her before his visor came up and he turned on some music.
He handed her a rose...but... it wasn't black this time... this one was red, it was real.
Matt then hovered above the ground and charged down the hall in search of more sentinals.
The sentinels fell one by one. There were very few left and even they died as we speak. One that was ripped in half by Magneto himself began to crawl towards an unaware Nakoma. He grabbed him and opened his mouth, revealing his self-destruct sequence. Nakoma was too frightened to do anything and forgot that he could just disperse into the wind. Magneto used the power of magnetism to break the sentinel's hold and with only 10 seconds left he threw him against the last oncoming wave. He then surrounded them in a magnetic bubble so he could contain the blast as they all blew up. He then makes his way to the frightened Nakoma and removes his helmet. He then places his hand on his shoulder.
"It's ok Tempestro, you can pay me back later. It's safe to come out now Charles!"
Charles then comes out and gives his thanks to his team and friend.
"Thank you team, and thank you Erik."
The mansion was safe again.
From a distance Matt heard the sound of an ice cream truck passing by...
*poof*
Matt was outside. He looked at the driver..."I'm sorry sir...i'm going to have to commandeer this vehichle for use in an undercover government operation... you will recieve payment in the mail."
The driver stepped out and took off running...terrified of the strange armored man.
Matt grabbed ahold of the truck and ported it to the kids in the danger room.
"Hey kids! Who wants ice cream!? " He said smiling as the kids ran for the truck.
"It's safe now"
Matt vanished to the roof of the mansion...he waited there thinking to himself and watching as the sun went down.
"Do not thank me, I only came to destroy those vile creations. But I will do you one last favor before my departure. Pay attention kids, and maybe you'll learn how to do this one day."
Magneto lifts ever last scrap of junk and collides them together. The metal crushes and compresses itself into one cube. He then sets it near Shatter and makes his exit.
"Clean that up for me little girl. I have more pressing matters to attend to. Always a pleasure Charles."
"Yeah he was a good fella, just had his own way of doin things...like us."
Matt put his hand on Rogue's back, Comforting her.
The sun went down.
He pulled her closer, Hugging her.
"As i'm sure you know by now. I'm leaving this place ...But if you ever need me, Just let me know...I'll keep my Com-link on."
Magneto arrives back at his base angry as he confronts Mystique.
"Mystique would you mind explaining why the hell there were Prime Sentinels there?! I specifically told you to only release the Mark I models!"
Mystique then fearfully explains that she had nothing to do with the Prime Sentinels
"It doesn't matter I guess. Tempestro's life was saved as planned and he is growing closer and closer to my influence. I'll meet with him one more time and he should be joining us. He has no choice but to pay back the man he owes does he not?"
"Why? We need you here." Rogue pulled away from him.For some reason it seemed as all her friends where leaving her.Still she hand Gambit.
meanwhile Jean looked over at the professor.
"It's up to you"
Storm walked up to the Professor."Somethings not right.Why was Magneto here?How did he know we we're being attack.Genoshi is to fall for him to play big brother.Why is it that he showed up just when the Sentinels showed but? Also he claimed that the young one will pay him back.Trust me professor when I say somethings not right"
