"I'm in my study but I just wanted to thank you and Bobby for standing up for me back there. I know Cain is a hard one to conversate with. He is anger and destruction personnified and its hard to bring up our past without him getting angry. Also I would like to know what your thoughts truly were about, Erik, Tempestro and why they've been so quiet about most things? I trust he wouldn't try to bring harm to hte school as long as his friend is here, but I just don't know what Erik is up to this time."
Shatter walked to the study and shut the door behind her, she turned and faced the Professor, this was the first time they'd had a chance to speak in private.
"I stand for and stand up for what I know is good and right, you haven't done anything to me or to anyone who I hasn't deserved punishment by your hand. As far as Magneto and his new protoge are concerned, I don't want to even consider what they have planned... I dont personally like to look on that side of things... the dark side if you will but if you're asking my honest opinion? I don't know what they're up to... I just know that Magneto can't be trusted. His hate has twisted his views... and that's a very sad thing... but it cant be helped... all we can do is protect what is right... like we both have for so long."
"I don't know either...he is different this time. He is very secretive this time and he hasn't tried to attack us yet, which actually makes me worry even more. Its as if he doesn't even see us as a threat anymore. However as long as my brother and Hulk are here, then there should be very little that he could throw at them that they couldn't repel. I believe my team could benefit well from your leadership skills"
Shatter's eyebrow cocked as she listen to the Professor speak, her expression terse and she exhaled slightly before speaking.
"Well I can't take as much as a beating as the others... I only survived the Hulk's barrage because of your brother... and I don't believe in harming anyone that hasn't harmed me... that's why I was in the med ward over night... but...
She paused and walked a little closer to the Professor, looking right at him.
"I will fight to keep the residents of this manor alive... theres too much evil in this world and we do need to stick together."
"Splendid then. I hereby appoint you the field leader of the X-Men in Scott's absence. Now if only I could sway Cain's strength and to our cause. He and Hulk are two I would most likely opt to avoid in a fight. Now I have to put you through a few training scenarios before I make this official and put you on a real mission. Are you fine with that?"
Shatter nodded slightly, she never really expected this but her life so far had been filled with unexpected circumstances. She said a silent prayer of thanks to God as the Professor spoke. She was definately in the right place, she could feel it.
"A chance to get stronger and really test myself? I'm definately up for it."
=Bobby shook his head about to argue against Cain when Shatter up and left. He got up, ready to follow but she had left to quickly, and she did not request him to come with. He then looked to the others and shrugged.=
Think what you guys will. Past is past. What is important is now. Xavier is a good person and Magneto has his heart in the right place but he goes about it wrong. I mean honestly if you put the two together the mutant community would probly get ahead alot faster.
~Kelly sighed lightly at Tempestro and walked by him. As she passed Cain she knocked a bit on his armor and smirked up at him. As she left the kitchen she turned to look at them~ Look. I dont even know this Magneto and from what I hear, From both sides, I dont want to. So apart from being Kidnapped I dont think I will ever meet him in fair terms. ~She turned around, flicking her hair around and made her way outside.~ .... geeze, what I am some prize or something? ~She muttered to herself. The Air head only seemed to want to get her to this Magneto guy. She saty on the ground outside the front of the Mansion and sulked.~ ... then again is it possible the same way with the Professor? Am I just some prized Mutant to him?
~As soon as Kelly left Vine appeared around t he corner of the Kitchen and blew her red powder at Iceman, Cain, Tempestro, and the Banner (If you were there u didnt say but Wei kind of autoed it.) in an attempt to make them do her bidding for a time.~ Now now, thats enough arguing boys. How about we have a bit of fun? ~Vine smiled at them sadisticly.~

Cain looked shocked at first and noticed the crazy chick with her power but quickly assimilated to her will after the others show their obedience.
((Think Poison Ivy in Batman movie. Just it doesnt last the entire time Vine is there. It wears off eventually. or if you get knocked around enough. I was going with the 'Fall in love with her' thing but that would be too much like Poison Ivy so i just went with Temperary Obedience. She doesnt know that Cain would be Immune cause of Cyttorak giving orders and not Her. Iceman probly wont be effected long cause of his "Cold" demenor. I dont know how Temestro would take to it or Hulk. Banner would fall with it but the question would be will it carry on to when he turns hulk?))
(Yeah, Tempestro has no defense against this unless he knew it was coming and only switched to breathing pure oxygen. Should work on Banner since he is calm but once Hulk takes over it should wear off IMO, but the only thing that would make him transform at this moment is pain seeing as he is worshipping the crazy tree hugger. Let's roll with it and see how Kelly reacts when she finds out. How will the newly appointed field leader react!? Tune in to the next episode of Dragonball...uh X-Men! )
