Angelus thanked the steward as he opened the bottle and poured her a full glass, she took the glass up with her right hand, sniffing just above the rim and taking a sip. She let the dark liquid slip down her throat before she answered, "Honor comes through your actions, as does love. You may be honorable without even noticing it Wade."
Angelus leaned forward with the glass of wine clasped in her right hand, speaking right at him, "We all have done wrong in one way or another, no matter if we're mutant or not... we're all sinners..." She took a small will of wine and then continued, "I've never been an angel." And with what she just said, she couldn't meet his eyes and just took a long swig of wine.
"ya, i know a thing or two bout that, I once stopped the second coming by killing the messiah" Wade told her, as he watched her down the wine.
"did you know champaigne was created accidentally by the french, who were going to never make it again as it sold very badly in france, until they found out over in england it was selling like dirty panties in japan" he said somewhat to change the subject, but also because the fact popped into his head
Angelus didn't laugh this time, a small smile tweaked the side of her mouth as she finished off the wine. It was then that the waiter arrived with their food, pausing only to delicately place the plates of food on the table before scuttering away quietly. Angelus mumbled a prayer quietly then looked across at Wade, "Enjoy your food. Smells good from here." Her tone was slightly sad but her eyes still sparkled, there was something wrong but apart from her expression she let on about nothing and began to eat.
