Shift's eyes widened dramatically, the words, "Ooh shit!" coming out of his mouth just before Payne slammed into him, flinging him at least twenty yards backwards. Purely on instinctual reaction a force pocket appeared just beneath where he was about to landed, bouncing him back and upwards. There he created another pocket, this one to simply pinball him down to where Ferril was.
Landing before her in a crouch, he came up with a lightning punch, but to his shock he felt a cold, deathlike grip latch onto his wrist, and it was Ferril's own hand.
A 1/20 percentage that she, that anyone, could block his attack, and Ferril hit the jackpot.
But on one punch.
Grunting, trying to shrug the pain in his arm, Shift went into a quick close-quarter grapple routine. Heel to enemy toe, lift legs with upper body strength and additional leverage provided by Ferril grasping his arm, legs over the grasping arm shoulder, land with pain to the wrist, foot moves in front of Ferril's shin, and with another grunt and a burst of strength Shift flipped Ferril forwards, speeding towards the ground. Before she lands hard, however, Shift pivots and knees her in the gut. Realizing he's suddenly all too vulnerable, but still trapped in her grasp, Shift attempts to bring up a suitable breakaway. Instead, his mouth beats him to it.
"I know it would be pretty embarassing for me to wipe your face in the mud again, so I decided to give you some leeway."
A bad idea. Stupid Shift, stupid Shift!

Deadpool leapt from the building and landed right behind Sorcerer his large body casted a dark shadow over sorcerer. He raised his hand up and smacked Sorcerer sending him flying. "Wake up we have work to do Glorfindel!" Deadpool yelled. His tendrils came out and move around ready to strike people in his way.
