Adamantium Question

Once when Wolverine's healing factor was deactivated (by the High Evolutionary) Wolverine began to die from adamantium poisoning. How is this possible? In order for that to happen, trace elements or molecules from the admantium would have to be getting into his blood. But that can't happen because adamantium doesn't breakdown. People have bones replace with steel or titanium, and they are fine. How can even a single molecule of adamantium break off from his bone linings to get into his system?

maybe the adamantium causes his bones to deteriorate... and the healing factor just keeps them together

Maybe its just a chemical reaction?

Or radiation. Various metals can produce radiation.

harmful magnetic fields?

Racism?

Pedophilia?

😆

Hey, just cause a man likes to hangout with underage girls doesn't mean anything! I mean look at Batman and Rob-- oh.

And the fact that Dakota is the name of the girl in his avatar?

*ahem* I have information about Wolverine in that regard. . . I think I saved the picture I found, I might be able to find it again. . . Rather disturbing. . .

Same thing happened to omega red he had to use his life force draining abilities to keep himself from getting poisoned by the carbonadium in his body, And as for the explaination I wouldn't have a clue all it says is that it poisoned him.

Wolverine begins to die without his healing factor in minutes...

How come all the X-Men around him haven't died to that radiation years ago?

maybe his skin and muscle absorb it.... like how the atmosphere protects us from radiation from the sun.... 😕

actauly do to wolverine will power he was able to survive many months

will power can't effect poisoning 🙄

thats what it stated. his will was what kept him going when he should of been in bed sick and dieng

His durability as well, he was dying cause of adamantium poisoning but in the logan files when he lost his healing factor he was fine, but I think that was cause by then the adamantium poisoning was flushed out of his body.

even tho it hasnt been officailly stated in that regard, for my money, low frequency radiation seems to be the best bet. in fact, it has been stated in comics a few times that wolverine's healing factor is actually working overtime becuz it is being taxed by the prescnce of the metal in his body. his system views it the same way ours view foreign bodies, and fights against it.

that makes sense seeing as how when he had that run in with the "native" and actually got her pregnant, when the black ops ppl got her to the lab they had to poison her with radiation to distract her healing factor while they harvested her fertilized embryos.

tho it makes a little sense, i still have major problems with any exlpnation that wolverine had any sort of poisioning, cuz if you all remember the reason bullseye even came back to normal was becuaz that japanese mafia guy gave him adamantium bones in return for killing daredevil, and bullseye damn sure doesnt have a healing, factor. grant it he doesnt seem to have the bones anymore(not an official retcon it was just never brought up again)

plus all the other charcters with a hint of adamantium, off the top of my head
sabretooth
x-23
cyber
deathstrike
and none of these ppl have any reported cases of poisoning

MANJARO HAS SPOKEN!!

Actually here is the real adamantium answer. "Due to her [X-23] healing factor, the presence of adamantium in her [X-23] in her body does not interfere with her bones' normal function of generating blood corpuscles." [Offical Handbook: X-Men 2005]
