Heh, thats a large part of why they dont just hand out the suits.. its the same reason why they dont let everyone fly planes in the army

so you believe cost has nothing to do with it?.. tsk tsk.. if Mjolnir was cheap to make, it would be wise for you to think the entire earth army would be wearing it.

They can't. The armor is too strong for them. The marines that actually tested the suits that weren't prepared like the Spartans were severely disfigured, if not dead.

When it was upgraded against plasma it was downgraded agains bullets... as the layer added to disapate the plasma fire ment he had to loose some armor...

SP weapons would damage an elite... I would concider them to do about as much damage as a plasma rifle.. So if they stood and just shot they would die at the same time... BUT if they shot and then hit, The elite would have the advantage.. If they went at it hand to hand... Elites would win with great strength and reflexs and the superior weapon...


OK, explain why the marines can survive loads of plasma fire, in any halo game cuz the damage you said it would do doesnt seem to ad up AT ALL.
The SP would most defenitly win in a firefight or in a "fist fight".
Lets consider that the Elite is fighting a MP2 pirate, yes I mean the ones who can do evasion manuvers, the SP would do as they usually do : Evade, shoot, evade, shoot, slice. And if the Elite tries to hit it would just put a pincer in the Elites way and voila we've got a pierced Elite. And in a "fist fight" the SP would just pincer the bare knuckle Elite cuz the SP doesnt have any hands any more.

No.... MC and the spartans are the only ones who can wear it due to its upgrades....

Some marines can't be killed at all!!! you can shoot one in the head and they won't die. they are over powered as they are soooo useless, so that for single players when you need a gunner/driver for your warthog they don't die straight way.... they even take more punches then any of the elites...

so elites aren't going to shoot at all??? and whos got the regen shield???
Elites swords would cut clean through the SPs.... the SP physical attack is would be like MC physical attack... It would require a few hits to kill...

thing is that SP's are completely invisible.. you need a different visor to spot them.. in halo the elites use light refraction which allows chief to see the bends that make up their form

you can still see SPs!!! theres not completely invis.. sure there slightly better cammo'd cause SA is ment to use her visor...

But they will still show up on the elites radar and he will have basic knowledge that they have camo...

The reason why you don't see all the soldiers going around in Mjolnir armour because you have to be picked when you are young and show the skills that are needed. Then it takes several years of training and upgrades to the ones picked before they are even capable of actually wearing the armour.

This is a normal space pirate cause if you wanted to get into specific types of them then they would beat any elite hands down.

DarkC, that was the most unessesariest unessesary post I've ever seen.
The adapted SP's cant be damage at all by any other weapon other than the type of shot type mentioned in their names, everything else just bounce of their armor.

Thats a bit presumptuous... just cause SA has 3 guns and there are only vulnerable to 1 gun doesn't mean that another gun she doesn't have won't hurt them...

It's never been done therefor it's a useless theory. SA has way more "weapons" than pitty three, OK, you've prove yet another time that you dont know very much about MP1 or MP2.
