[b]LOL everyone gets the Indian part mixed up. I mean Indian as in South Asian. ^_^I just find it disrespectful to change things. "Gift Giving Time"? I couldn't believe that was said. He couldn't even say Christmas. I understand that people can get offended by the word but really, you should know that in the country you are going to live in, things aren't going to be like at home. If I were to move to India, I am pretty sure they wouldn't allow me to prance around yelling Merry Christmas. They'd most likely protest infront of my house. That's just the way life is. No one can agree on it because everyone has their own opinion. It's a tough world out there :/
I am not saying they must celebrate Christmas but they have to understand that I celebrate it, this country celebrates it.

Alright that'S what I though...would be stupid to talk aboot the natives there as being immigrants (I jsut wanted to make clear with what cultures you have the problem=
But don't you thi9nk that the Indians have the right to call it a "Gift Giving Tree" as long as they don't force you to say that too? But the basic arguemenjt you are giving is "If I was in their country, they wouldn't...." ...but you have to see that is flawed. Why should you do the same they do ...wouldn't it be better to be open minded and give everyone the same chances instead of saying "They probably wouldn't..."?
But one doesn't need to disrespect the others opinions and cultures.
The thing is "countries" don't celebrate anythin...they are neutral (or at least should be)...if you say that the majority of the people in the country celebrate that I can agree...but you have to accept that some might just not.
