Should a Member's Avatar and Sig match?

Same color scheme, or at least sigs and avy's that don't clash...I'm all for it.

Signatures and avatars that use the same exact picture, just cropped. That's unoriginality. If I do that when I make a signature, I at least edit the avatar with maybe more pictures, or different techniques so it looks different.

Lately though, I've been bored with making avatars and have relied on my fake Red-X so it matches every signature I use. 😛

I like the colour schemes to be the same but not the content.

My first sig (if anyone remembers it) did match with my avatar but I wanted to do something different because I rarely play Yu-Gi-oH cards now and that was my main interest at the time of registering.

i like my current star wars sig, but the boba fett avy kinda clashes with it.

I do... but that's just because I was too lazy to make a separate avatar.

I usually use part of my sig as my avatar because 1) then I know they'll match, and 2) considering the amount of time I spend working on my sigs, I'm too damn lazy to then create something new for an avatar 😛

I'd say no.... i think when people use the same pic for both it looks a little unimaginative..... having both based on the same theme looks better.... but there's nothing wrong with having two completely unrelated pics for sig and avatar

Generally...it just looks better ✅

As you can see from my sig and avatar, they both show me. 🙂

I disagree, I prefer things to be more unified and matching. Simply looks neater to me.

Exactly!! Thanks Lana... apparently it's unoriginal, but when you're making sigs as awesome as yours you can afford to be a little less original with your avatars, right? 😉
