Pulse (2006)

PLOT After the suicide of one of their friends a group of young adults receive e-mails saying that the end of the world is near. Slowly those who receive the e-mails fall into a deep depression. The only one who failed to open the e-mail, Emily, tries to stop those she loves from killing themselves like her best friend did. But is there a way to stop this apparent curse or will the world end with a mass suicide?

Sounds like a cross between "The Ring" and "Donnie Darko" to me.

It's based on the Japenese film Kairo (1988).

It's another remake, just check out Kairo, but it's not from 1988, Kairo is from 2001.

Just furthur evidence that J-Horror execs are one trick ponies.

The film overall looks a trifle lame. Any plot revolving around E-Mails is bound to bomb.

Kristen Bell is the only reason im considering ever watching this movie.. anyone actually seen it and have an opinion?

Wow, it seems as if creativity and imagination is f-cking the ground nowadays. So very many remakes around.

at least they are re-making from a different culture instead of something already known by the majority of people. but yea more originality would be nice.

Indeed. To be honest, a large number of remakes are flops. I'd like to see some original stories and such. It would be nice.

Even Christina Milian's fine ass couldn't help this movie.
