Who in Marvel and DC DON'T celebrate Christmas?

Well, Namor obviously doesn't (even though he is Santa in my Avatar). I think the same applies to Aquaman.

Thing is Jewish...I think Shadowcat is too.

Who else?

Well they might might still participate in the capitalistic rathers than the religous aspect of the holiday, due to their friends.

I like your sig and avatar, though I have to ask about your signature. . .

What the?

Yeah, but I am meaning the ones who believe in it and really celebrate it in the sense of celebrating it.

Oh, for my sig...read Marvel Holiday Special 2005 😛

Thanks for the compliments. 🙂

Ben J Grimmstien?

Moon Knight is Jewish too - and devotes his life to an Egyptian God. How interesting is that. 🙂
Still, he may go through some motions at Christmas; buying gifts etc.

Stan Lee is Jewish I think
Siegal and Schuster were Jewish
Al Gruenwald is I think

Regardless of planet origin, dimensional origin or religous affilation ALL comic heroes celebrate Christmas one way or another.

aslong as they live in the u.s

Eh. Superman somehow managed to convince every damn superhero to come to a "holiday" bash with CHRISTMAS trees and CHRISTMAS songs on the Watchtower.

Cap has tendency to do that too...

Ghost Rider?

I can't really see batman sat around the fire, opening a present and looking slightly annoyed as robin bought him that bat gadget, last year..................

Most of the original comic creators were jewish. I read a whole section devoted to it, it comes down to the history of story telling in the jewish community.

Kirby is, too. I believe.

The Black Panther. (These days, anyway, since his falling out with the Avengers.)

Jack Kirby was Jewish. Ben Grimm is (or at least, originally was) his comic alter ego.

All/most characters celebrate (or seem to celebrate) xmas as a means of ensuring comic book sales, since most readers celebrate xmas, and this way they identify (consciously or otherwise) with the characters. It's why most TV and movie characters celebrate xmas.

For similar reasons (ie, ensuring sales), it's why you have few ethnic characters (since we live in a predominantly white society); and I imagine least popular these days would be a Muslim character. Too bad, because an Islamic superhero would make for an interesting character study in this age of terrorism.
