My first sigs

everyone says its best if i work on my fonts i'll work on it now experiment a bit

used another method the brick texture kinda went for the graffiti look kinda failed will try again though

Very, very nice. Very well designed, but the text still needs a bit more... I don't know... oomph.

thanks love your sig barker i want ot make a christmas sig but i need the perfect render someting like yours i got to wake up early since tomorrow is christmas eve so i could use it on christmas day

Your sigs are very nice, though I agree with Barker and Hotsauce, you need to work on text a bit. Though text is a b!tch to get to look good....I would suggest, instead of always putting it on top of all the layers, try putting it between layers, and/or playing with the blend modes for the text. Also try things like giving it a stroke, or drop shadow....those sorts of things. Just play around with it 🙂

I find Stroke to be very useful. If I'm playing around with the blending modes, and I find one I like, sometimes you can hardly see the text. When you apply a Stroke, however, it makes the text easier to read and also makes it stand out a bit.

Like the text on my current sig, I used dark red for the color, had it on top of all the other layers, added a drop shadow (opacity 100%, mode multiply, spread and distance of 2), and set the blend mode to overlay.

Also, stroke is good for making pixel fonts stand out, like in Hotsauce's current sig 😄

thanks for the tips i got to try some blending options anyone know i i can get the sketchy look on sigs i tried a lot of options no luck
