THE ONLY THING TO FEAR ABOUT FEAR FACTOR IS ROGAN HIMSELF!
As a #1 fan of Reality Television, I am outraged from what I have been reading from different sources and people about the Fear Factor fiasco between Joe Rogan & Jonathan Baker. The first thing that comes to mind is this: “Is Joe Rogan on steroids, is he?”
It is known knowledge that Rogan practices boxing and fighting and may even do “The Juice”, which may have led up to Rogan being a loose cannon hitting a contestant. No matter what you see on TV, Joe Rogan is a troubled man! He should have a psychological evaluation before he continues with Fear Factor!
Contestants should be safe no matter what reputation precedes them! The scary thing is that the contestants in question did not feel safe! Maybe the contestant was just playing the game of Reality TV and Joe Rogan thinks in his mind that it is “his” show and he could not handle the truth…Does Joe Rogan have an ego so big that he had to resort to violence? Did Joe Rogan have it out against this particular couple contestants? He was not nice from start of the game. Sources said Joe Rogan was told about the couple’s past. But he never really acknowledged them. He wasn’t going to cut them any slack. Maybe he was just trying to do “good TV” Why didn’t Joe Rogan play Fear Factor in a much more professional way?
It’s no secret amongst the industry that Rogan is a troubled man with a troubled past. His youth was spent in and out of jail and he had confrontations with the law, something never listed in his NBC bio. How could NBC not see that Rogan spells trouble? How can a national host of a nationally acclaimed TV reality show on a major network be allowed to HIT a contestant? Who can remember Monty Hall hitting any one on Let’s Make A Deal!
By the end of the episode they’d had enough of Rogan! Joe Rogan comes up in the contestant’s face and says, “Who the hell do you think you are?” Rogan was not playing around. That is when Rogan whaled on the contestant who was standing two feet away from Rogan and was not acting threatening…. Obviously “Fear Factor” is a factor for Joe Rogan who punched that contestant. The contestant walked closer to Rogan and Rogan hit the contestant again! That is when it became a free for all with crew, stuntmen and anyone else there! The guy fromvReal World & WWF had to step in and try to break it up!
But the bottom line is that it was uncalled for! It shows that Joe Rogan is a lunatic and a time bomb ready to blow! It’s a matter of time before it happens again! Who is really going to get hurt by this guy in the future, and why is no one doing anything about it. Why is host Joe Rogan still on the air?
