I invented the question mark.

I was tired of asking questions with no inflection in my tone, so I basically sat down and said to myself "Self, you have to come up with some way of helping people discern when you are asking a question".

Within 6 months, I had invented the question mark we all know and love today. 🙂

It was hard work, but it was worth it.

I have also invented the Egg, the colour orange and the letter Q. 😖mart:

Taiwan, Thailand...it was a T-producing country. They totally copied me though....I mean, a few more months and I'd have had the exclamation mark too. Who knew? A straight line with a dot....PURE GENIOUS!

Yes, I know that...Taiwan is where I have my letter Q's manufactured.

Clover...you hurt me....it was MY invention, and no one else could have possibly come up with it. I mean without it, none of the other 'punctuation' marks would have happened.

But, my first few attempts were lame. The first one was a large bird's head with a human heart, still beating, in it's mouth.

Then I tried )_)_ but that seemed to hard.

Next it was a small hairy man with no clothes.

Finally, and thankfully, ? came to me one night in the bathroom. It was great!!
