Well, it's odd, because we're like friends as well...We get along really well, so technically we're just as much friends as I am with his sister.

yeah i got a suggestion...try the direct approach. it always served me well in such situations. anything less just shows her your hesitancy which could spill over onto other things...but don't tell her you love her unless you want her thinking you're some kind of nut. ask her out for coffee and a convo in FRONT of her friends...that way they can size you up...then they'll either nod yes or no to this chick you want...and if she says no, well...ask the girl next to her

Asking the girl next to her is important. Shows that you can move on in a flash.

and yeah im guessing if you ask the person beside her to go out, it means that your confindent and most girls like that.
