Namor vs Sasquatch(original)

I just read the Namor respect forum and learned a great deal on how powerful he is. In the Alpha Flight respect thread Sasquatch has some cool feats also.

The battle takes place on the land and Namor is fresh out of the water.

Who wins?

If there is no water around, he has a chance. However, depends on how long this fight goes if it's quick Namor wins.

Sasquatch has shown to lift 5000 tons, but so has Namor and then some.

That is why I left the water option out. I think it's pretty clear Namor rules the water.

Sasquatch didn't really lift 5000 tons. He just towed a ship to shore and lifted the front of it out of the water while Guardian repaired the ship.

Still impressive either way.

Well you have to outcome for suction of the water, also he tossed a 250 ton DC-10 1000 feet and it's engines were still going yet he still tossed it like he was nothing.

Anyways I'm still incline to give it to Namor, due to he may want to end the match quick or something.

Yea Namor takes it with a speedblitz.

See I maybe a Alpha Flight fanboy, but I know their limits.

Well, consideringhow the original Sassy started out as a 100cl character, hed put up a better fight than Thing or Colossus imo.

If this fight were intended to last, they probably stalemate for the duration of it. Sassy is a durable sob and has a healing factor as well if im not mistaken. Namor edges him in the experience and speed, department. The strength gap isnt much, although i dont know how strong current Sassy is.

If Namor were to fight serious and take Sasquatch as a threat, id say hed take it 6.5/10 times.

Current Sasquatch is only class 70. Which is crap. The guy is a f*cking beast.

If Sasquatch has a Redwood he might be able to pull out a win.

Yeah he is a healing factor, and durable enough to take armour peircing machine gun fire and be uneffected.

Current Sas is base strength 70 tons, but he can get back to what he once was by giving into rage and let Tanaraq take control. He even went toe to toe with current Jugz. He's weaker than he once was, but he's still class 100.

Haha I love it, every single fight he has he has to smack someone with a tree

Yea, i kinda figured he was depowered. When "original" was mentioned, i wasnt sure if that meant current or classic. If its the current 70cl, then it doesnt look to good for Sassy.

I have a question. Who has Namor defeated on land? And who has defeted him on land?

? To be honest, i really dont know many offhand. Do you mean villains, or heroes that hes faced?

I know he lost to Mimic in Exiles. Wolverine ofcourse(i hate to mention that fight). I think Ironman got a win against him as well. Thats all i can remember.

He stalemated Herc on land. Constantly stalemates Hulk. Hope that helps a bit.

Are you serious? They did fight twice. The first time was in an early Namor issue. Although it hurts, ill post both fights.
