The Breaking of My Soul

The Breaking of My Soul

Pain, break this pain out
Make me bleed so I can see
Tear my heart out
With my soul
To free me from this misery

Eye in eye
This pain inside
You can not see it
For you are blind

Are my screams enough for you?
I seem to have lost my faith
Brand me with my dying words
The beast inside for me to wake

When we were lost
When we were broken
You didn't really care
Your children would
Scream out for you
But you wouldn't even dare

I broke this silence
With my thoughts
These redeeming ways of mine
I broke your passion
I broke your hate
All I needed was time

You see me now
As you dwell
And drown amongst your griefs
You have lost me
For your words
Have brought this new release

Cover me now, Cover me
In my shining rage
Tempt me with your ever words
To trap me in this cage

Tear me now, Tear me
For my soul is lost
In this gamble for your sanity
My soul was the cost

Hear me now, as you have not
For my heart was killed
My soul was lost
But yours will die
Forever in your guilt.

My Love, My Breath, My Fear, My Death

My Love, My Breath, My Fear, My Death

Trust me love, but not for my heart
These stolen dreams are tampered
Are they not one in the same?

Pray for me, My love
For eternity waits in it's webbed dreams
And dangerous notions rise against all will
And the night creeps in like fog.

Sing for me, My love
For water wavers upon dancing light
And these dreams that hold me
Are no longer real.

Watch carefully, My love
For deceit is closer than you think
And preys its fingers upon thy soul.

Weep for me, My love
For I am forever gone here,
Without a whisper in so many wicked dreams.

Dream of me, My love
For it is sweet abandon that you so deliciously savor on thy lips
Return with no sorrow, forever hate in willful ways

Come to me My love
My arms are wide, but my words are few
Do you despise me?
These things I fear

Whisper to me, My love
My sweetest dreams cascade like water over my open wounds
I live no longer in this redeeming way

Rise for me, My love
My whispered fingers cling too long to thee
All the dreams of a thousand nights stretch into an Eternity
Hard to bare.

Sleep for me, My love
The life that transcends your soul,
Will never wake a mortal soul
And all that lies beneath your head,
Lying here with all that’s dead

Smell the flowers for me, My love
For I live not my life, but the life of another
Dreaming hopes of bleeding hearts
Silk less pillows for thee to part
Admonished dreams of those that waits
Hoping lovely for a beautiful fate.

Be with me, My Love
For no longer will my soul be mine.

Wow, that's a strong piece... I hope you don't mind me asking, but is it yours? Thanks for sharing 😉

Hi again,

It's good to see a new member sharing their work, but I'd like to let you know that we all have our own, single threads where we post each of our pieces, rather than opening a new thread for each poem. This helps the forum to stay relatively orderly. I hope you don't mind 😉

wow is all i can say really good keep it up 🙂

🙂 That's cool....I'll keep that in mind next time. Ermm....is there a way to move the two poems in one thread?

Yeah...it's my peice 🙂 I wrote it back when I was living with my mom in LA...wow...that was about five or six years ago...lol. I'm glad that ya'll liked it 😄

Whisper of Destruction:

See
I see inside
Allas I see
I see your soul
The makings of a virgin god
Were never meant
To withhold.
Allas I see
I see your mind
The whirling thoughts within
The lasing strike
Of our damnation
You were never really Kin.
I knew
You knew
Where we always stood
Outside the door
Upon your ground
The things we saw
We were kept silent
We knew what we had found.
Through stitched lips
We spoke to you
In whipsers in your ear
Our gentle but pained lips
Knew yours
In time
But you were never really here.
The kiss of destruction
The Eyes of a killer
Could see our world of pain
When all was spoken
And when all went silent
We were hushed away
So take our hearts
With your bitter hands
And tuck them in your place
But when your death comes for you
You will remember this face.

Thank you 😄 One of those poems where I have no idea where it came from...lol.

((New poem I wrote two nights ago.))

LITTLE ANTIDOTE:

Right or Wrong
You're always strong
Yet barely even breathing....

Condemned, you fell
It's easy to tell
Pick up the peices to feed them.

TELL ME
The peices fit.
YOU'RE NOTHING
That I can't fix.

It's burning...
But I can hardly even tell...
The perfect little antidote
To your little spell.

Sear the flesh
And harden the eyes
To a world that you can't
COMPROMISE!

PROMISE ME
The world for ashes
EMPTY
Another promise lacking

WHY CAN'T WE
Escape from here
The monster within is only
Feeding your FEARS!

Through stitched lips
And swollen eyes...
For all the years...
Eating nothing but lies...

Coming to call...
Coming to call...
ANGER IS BETTER THAN FEELING NOTHING AT ALL!
