One comic that basically screamed louder than his entire history prior to it. Most likely banging Cheetah will be the high point of Snapper Carr's career as a character.

They were together for two issues of Resist and one other comic where she helped him against a villain (thought, she didn't help very hard). So, they're still together.

Snapper, on his own, has practically no chance of winning, the odds of getting to him and getting a teleport without being stabbed is minimal. The girlfriend card is his only chance.
