The other night my step-son came in saying he'd found a guinea pig abandoned in a cardboard box.

So we out to have a look and sure enough there in a box was a cute little g-pig left out next to the bin ready to be collected by the refuse company 🙁

Anyway we have a spare hutch from when I built our rabbit a big hutch and run last summer so we took it home and fed it and it looks like we've got a new pet. 😄

Aaw, he's gorgeous!! Jamie and I took a guinea pig in a little while ago. My mum's fella asked us if we wanted a gerbil, so we said yes, and he brought a guinea pig round in a tiny cage! The cage was too small for a gerbil, let alone a guinea pig and I was totally shocked, having expected a gerbil, but I couldn't let him take the poor mite back. We ended up giving him to my little sister anyway. But some people just don't care!! The cage had no food/water bowl, it was filthy and just had a piece of rope tied between the bars, I've no idea what for. It makes me so angry 😠
