Because Big G will take out his vengence on the annihilation wave since they killed so many of his former heralds.
On a side note, why didn't Nova turn to the Earth heroes for help sooner? The alliance forces would have had a better chance. Hulk, Dr. Strange, Sentry, and Blackbolt by themselves would have given them a HUGE boost in power.
Got to love what Thanos learned about the application of the Power Cosmic. Replaces your life force and the forms adapts to accomodate its function... So not all heralds can matter/energy manipulate it depends on the PC function that big G gives them.. All along i had thought they where capable of such things, they just never showed it...
I got toally mad respect for gladiator even more so than ever cuz when that guy with the shiar sword was explaining his life to rachel he said it descended from his ancestor 400 yrs ago, and he got so powerful the imperium had to assemble the original imperial gaurd to stop him, then in the flash back sequence you see gladiator choking the shit outta the guy, so that means that at the very least gladiator is 400 plus yrs. old...and all the originals that were shown in the dark phenix saga were there too, so that means that these are some old ass aliens

Same here. Both have been great events in my opinion. Haven't read any of the uncanny stuff though.
My wet dream of having Annihilation crash Marvel Earth's Civil War party is still alive and well. Rider sending his journal thing to Reed could just be the first mention of it. Imagine both things going on at the same time, and the Annihilation Wave swarming Earth....

Here's a pretty cool tidbit. I think everyone will like this.
