Firelord was badass...singlehandedly broke into the mothership of that huge annihilation force and took out all the drones....reached the queen eradica or extirpia or whoever...he's expended so much energy fighting alone that he's "bleeding" out the power cosmic. He appears in front of her and basically tells her to stand down because he KNOWS that he'll kick her ass, to which she replies "you will die soon, you have the stench of death about you." Firelord looks at her and the power cosmic flashes in his eyes, and says "ladies first"

next thing we know, firelord is in stasis, but the queen is hooked up to all kinds of machines as the united front studies her.

Firelord is more badass now than he has ever been in his entire comic life, hunting down centurion war criminals and blasting them into dust, that's badass.

Surfer was bleh, beating two beings I don't think he should of been able to defeat, back to being Galactus' faithful servant. Bleh.

Lol. I'm just biased agains Firelord. . .at least a small bit. Though I do/did like the whole Firelord/Air Walker angle. Interesting to see how a Power Cosmic guy deals with having friends.

I must have missed something in that issue, where does it say that the Watchers where promethial gods? Aldebreri (whatever his name was) dont think was a Watcher..

the caption said "antiphon the overseer, first among equals, tasked with monitoring consonance"..then when A asked T if he still lives when they fished his corpse from the kyln T's answer was " he does not, he was the weakest of us, tasked with seeing all but forbidden to act."

ummmm.....yep that sure sounds like a watcher to me...also since these orginals were proemial gods, and it showed that diableri created the chaos sprites with his own power antiphon could have easily created the modern day watchers in the same manner...at least thats what i take from it, cuz the watchers gotta come from somewhere, and thier profiles always say that they were one of the first sentient races to evolve in the universe, but not stating where they actually came from

well...yay for galactus, but maybe he pulled a b*****h move like Surfer did. he did only manage to imprison them after all not out right defeat so, who knows Antiphon may not have tgone down so easily eevn tho he was the weakest among them
